Door Delivery Policy

When a client selects Door Delivery instead of White Glove Delivery, the following terms and conditions apply:

1. Liability Disclaimer

  • Aprils Form is not liable for any damages, scratches, chips, cracks, or breakage that occur after the product has been delivered to the client’s curbside, driveway, or door.

  • This includes, but is not limited to, damages caused during:

    • Unpacking / uncrating

    • Moving the item into the property

    • Storage or relocation after delivery

    • Installation or assembly by third parties

By choosing Door Delivery, the client accepts full responsibility for all risks associated with handling and installation of natural stone, marble, and other heavy or delicate materials.

2. Documentation Requirement

To qualify for any damage claim, the client must provide clear photographic or video documentation at each stage of receiving the product:

  1. Crate upon arrival: Photos/videos of all sides of the crate before unsealing, showing any dents, punctures, or external damage.

  2. Crate opening: Continuous photo or video documentation during uncrating, showing how the product was packed inside.

  3. Product reveal: Photos/videos of the item immediately upon removal from the crate, before it is moved.

  4. Unpacking process: Intermittent photos/videos while unpacking to confirm safe handling.

Without this documentation, Aprils Form cannot and will not honor claims of concealed or internal damage.

3. Freight Damage Responsibility

  • If freight-related damage is suspected, it must be documented at the time of delivery while the driver is still present.

  • The client must note any crate damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

  • Failure to follow this procedure absolves Aprils Form of all liability.

4. White Glove Delivery Strongly Recommended

  • Aprils Form highly recommends White Glove Delivery for all natural stone and marble furniture due to its weight, fragility, and handling requirements.

  • White Glove Delivery includes professional uncrating, placement, and installation by insured movers.

  • Clients who decline this service do so at their own risk.

5. Storage Responsibility

  • Aprils Form does not assume responsibility for the condition of items that are stored by the client after Door Delivery.

  • Improper storage (exposure to moisture, stacking, poor handling, etc.) can result in damage for which Aprils Form bears no liability.

  • If the client is not ready for immediate installation, Aprils Form can arrange secure storage through our White Glove Delivery partners.

  •  This service includes professional handling, storage in appropriate conditions, and later delivery/installation when the client is ready.

  • Storage and extended delivery are available at an additional cost, quoted based on duration and location.

    5. Final Acceptance

By selecting Door Delivery, the client confirms that they:

    • Understand and accept full responsibility for uncrating, moving, storage, and installation.

    • Agree to document the receiving and unpacking process as outlined.

    • Waive all claims against Aprils Form for damages discovered without proper documentation.

    Important Notice

Natural stone, including travertine and marble, is inherently fragile and requires professional handling. Aprils Form cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from decisions to forgo White Glove Delivery.
