Caring for your travertine furniture

This product is made from natural Italian travertine that has been handcrafted and cut along the natural veins of the stone. The surface is honed for a satin finish and sealed to enhance the natural beauty of the stone. The natural pitting of the travertine adds to its character, and the variations in color, texture, and veining are to be expected and celebrated as no two items will be exactly alike. To care for this product:

• Clean it periodically with a clean, damp cloth and mild dishwashing liquid if necessary.

To maintain the appearance of this product:

• Use placemats or trivets under hot dishes and coasters for drinks to prevent stains and marks.
• Keep acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juice, or tomato sauce away from the surface.
• Clean up spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the table as the natural porous structure of travertine may cause nicks, stains, or scratches.
